I have just downsized to an M2 from an M3. Costs me £30 to fill up compared to £50.

I was not knocking. The M3 was suposed to be my final car, however my wife was very nervous in driving it, preferring her 91 Nissan Micra. As I am stopping work at end of year and as the Nissan was worth £2,000 scrappage, we decided to put both cars towards the M2 and for the first time since 1965 have just the one vehicle. Second cars have been : Heinkel Bubble car, Morris Minor, Austin 1100, Fiat 126, Mini, and the Nissan.
My wife liked the 1100 best of all. One day took out the back seat because it felt damp, and found I was looking at the road. Got £15 from the scrapyard.
