    Fleeg's Best Three Albums Ever.

Your best three music albums ever...

These can be vinyl, cassette tape, eight-track cartridge (RIP), one of these new 'compacted disc' things, or download.

    My three are...

    1) Aja.......................Steely Dan
    2) Against the grain.... Rory Gallagher
    3) Jailbreak............... Thin Lizzy

    Fleeg.

Ouch. Mine would have to be:

    1. Red Hot Chilli Peppers - Blood Sugar Sex Magic.
    2. Jimi Hendrix - Experience.
    3. Prodigy - Fat of the Land.

    No contest.

    Fleeg.
Have seen Steely Dan live - it was on holiday in Tampa, Florida.
They had Michael MacDonald on tour with them.
You can imagine what the weather was like over there - ideal for an outdoor concert.
Aja is up there with the 'Royal Scam'.
Where am I?; In the Pharmacy.
Who are you?; The new Number 2.
Who is number 1?; You are number 6.
    What do you want?;..................

    Radiohead - OK Computer
    Mercury Rev - Deserter's Songs
DJ Dangermouse - The Grey Album (a brilliant mix of Jay-Z's Black album and The Beatles White Album)
    So it goes.

One of my favourites too. You saw Shine! I presume.

    I suppose currently I like

any of Roxy Music's albums, but in particular YouTube - Roxy Music - Editions of You

Jacques Loussier's take on Bach (Here is the famous toccata and Fugue in d minor getting the Loussier treatment)
YouTube - Jacques Loussier - Toccata And Fugue in D Minor

Lastly I had to include a piece by Franz Liszt, quite probably the best pianist-composer of all time, whose album "Grand Studies requiring a Transcendental Technique" contain some of the most frightening pieces ever written for the piano. This one is by no means the most difficult, but it is a terrific video of a master at her craft. YouTube - Liszt La Campanella HQ
    ....just my opinion
