    Lightbulb Locum Dispenser

I'm a Dispenser (NVQ2) with many years of experience. I've just got my perfect job... 2 days a week in a community pharmacy with people I really like. Trouble is, my husband has been put onto a four day working week, as his employers are finding things difficult at the minute, hence we need another income. I'm wanting to try my hand at Locum Dispensing, and was wondering if anybody has any experience of this that they can share, which may be of help before I make the step.
I'm based in Northumberland, and have no idea if this is even a viable option.
    Thanks

Regrettably, as it is not a legal requirement to have a tech actually on the premises, then cos try to get staff to cope with sickness and holidays.
However, under new RP regs, a pharmacist may consider that insufficient staff available and close the pharmacy. To prevent this, you could give cover for tech's absences. A whole new opportunity.
