Top Gear's Stiggy to be revealed tonight...

For those who really want to know who The Stig (post 2002) really is I believe they might be revealing it on tonights show (BBC 2).

well it seems it 'was' schumacher. But it was quite obviously a bit of a setup! The 'real' stig (or stigs, if the press are to be believed) will likely not be revealed for a long time.

Still, was a good start to the series!

Yeah it did seem a setup - if there's more than one Stig then each person would obviously have to be a similar build and height otherwise it would be pretty obvious that there's more than one Stiggy.

Difficult to tell with the show layout. You hardly ever see him standing next to anyone, do you.

It's obvious who the Stig is. We've seen the Stig standing next to or near Jezza and Hamster.

But never, not once in the same frame as Captain Slow. And who is the fastest of our 3 heroes? Discounting jet aircraft and the like, Captain Slow has driven faster than the others. His "I'm the slowest", losing his way driving round the track etc etc is all past of his disguise. And what a disguise!

Or it could be Sabine, when Capt Slow is off with Oz Clarke.

If you were Ferrari who would you trust with a 1 million pounds worth of car? It had to be Schumacher, no one elses would be more qualified than an ex Ferrari F1 driver.
The identity of the Stig should remain a secret and with several more "Stig revealed" to come it going to be fun working out who they are from their driving style.
