The Fleeg's British and Irish Lions Thread.

Not sure how many of you are following The Lions in South Africa. Thought I would start a thread anyway for any rugby followers out there. Three out of three so far, with the next match against Sharks on wednesday. Any comments on Geech's team selections, or individual performances so far, etc?

Here's the official site for all the latest news..

Yeah they're doing well...they also did very well in the last world cup too. I wouldn't say the Irish weren't fussed about cricket, it's probably just that they were all brought up with fast-moving, full contact field sports (Hurling, Rugby, Gaelic football and soccer), so cricket could be a bit slow for them, although I realise the 20T is aimed at being a bit more exciting than a five day test match.

Re the Lions...up against Sharks tomorrow evening, with what I reckon could be the starting 15 for the first test. Phillips at scrum-half is my only doubt, as O'Gara needs quick service...
