    Fleeg.

This thread reminds me of the Ian Drury and the Blockheads song, "What a waste".

Because I chose to be the pharmacist in a 100 hour shop
Twitching nerves with all the hours I've got to stand.
I should be glad to be so inclined.
What a waste! What a waste!
    But I don't mind.

    Apologies to Ian Drury (RIP)

I was toying with Biochemistry, but looking at Pharmacy really did it for me!
Other than that, Tudor History absolutely fascinates me. If only I could stand the constant essay writing! One of my best hobbies is reading about how all the ins and outs link together.

I'd have liked to work in IT, or be a gardener.

I'm actually working as a gardener at the moment since I decided to have a break from pharmacy a couple of years ago, but the pay's a bit cack, so I'm going back to part time (and winter) locuming.... it'll be warmer I hope

Scanning back noticed this. I know someone who joined the Merchant Navy as a pharmacist to avoid National Service. He spent 5 years sailing the world on cruise liners.
