I looked at few mobile phones old boxes that I bought time ago; all have the same word VOID on the seals. They are ok.
What do you think? Is the new mobile damaged and shouldn't be given as a present??
Do you think it's like when those scratch cards say "void if rubbed off" on them. In other words its void if the void is missing - broken into?
I can't ever remember getting a mobile that has this on to be honest.
If it works ok I'd give it anyway. I'd maybe tell the shop the assistant put the sim in for you as they often do this for people.
I'd charge it up and try it with your sim in it - you can tell the person you are giving it to you wanted it to work for them so you charged it up!
