Does anyone else find it a bit morbid her trying to make as much money from her terminal illness as she can. Although I feel sorry for her I just feel it's all in bad taste somehow

The desire of a mother to do the best for her family by what ever means is natural. It is a media circus, but I do not blame her for doing the best she can of the situation. My only fear is that the money will vanish into someones pocket and never get to her boys. It should be securely placed in trust.

Yes..unfortunately she will die the same way she lived..ringmaster of a distasteful media circus. Sadly, though, it's the only way she knows, and I think she's right to do it in all the circumstances. One thing I don't want to see is her selling the "rights" to her death. Apparently she isn't...yet...
She should spend the precious time she has left with her soon-to-be husband and family, not with the entire nation.

”We are real. We are not glam sh*t or anything else. We are Guns N’ Roses.”
I don't mind whatever she does. I think when you are facing your last few weeks of your cherished life, money loses all its meaning.
If it is true that the publicity surrounding her sad fate has led to a 20%-increase in women having a smear-test done, then Jade deserves ten times more than anything The Sun/Hello Magazine could ever give her.
As for her selling the "rights" to her death: again, if it moves just one woman into getting her early signs of cervical cancer seen to, then it will have been worth it.
I think it would be despicable of Society to turn away from Jade's public life now, claiming the moral high ground; She is not the only one to have chosen to turn her life into a "Media Circus": it takes two to tango...

I just don't feel it should be front page news. I think it is a sad state of affairs when people look up to Jade Goody,Jordan and Kerry Katona. What hope have working class people got when they aspire to be like that. People need to realise you don't get any where without hard work. She will probably leave the money to that moronic husband of hers. Fair play to him. I can't stand those leaches like Max Clifford and Piers Morgan.
I agree totally with this observation from Zo, but I do think there should be a less invasive way of having tests like this done in this day and age. How about offering people a MRI or some other type scan? I am obviously talking about offering them the chance to pay for it - about £800 I understand - it may have changed.
My sister had a grade three type cell scare a few years ago and the procedures she had to have to get rid of it were awful.
Having said that, all you girls should go and have one of course, but to be honest you won't have ever seen me there and never will.

I would rather have a free NHS smear test than pay £800 just so it's less invasive. They're not that bad!
