Oh, probably - I'm not totally up on all Audi varieties (or I wouldn't have bought that one....). The CVT is known as "multitronic".

An Audi technician on another forum said "when you're in the trade, you know any automatic gearbox is a timebomb. The multitronic's not. It's a live grenade with the pin removed."
