I am a pre-reg who works in hospital. I agree with some of the things you have mentioned. I feel one of the most challenging aspect of pre-reg is the resentment of the techs. I have tried many times to maintain a positive relationship with them, some are nice but some are very difficult. I feel at times that they want to get one over you or undermine you. In hospital it is necessary to work with them because they are involved in your training (dispensing, ACT, etc). I am fortunate because I work in a large hospital and most of the staff are lovely. However, to do well, I believe that you need a strong mentality and character during pre-reg. Do not be phased and you will survive.
