I commonly see this script - I know the SPC for Imdur (also ISMO 60mg XL) states that the tablet can be halved to give a 30mg dose, so long as the dose taken is not crushed or chewed. I assume the same can be said for monomax, as the extended release matrix of ISMO allows half a tablet to be taken without a drastic effect on release proflie, although disintegration is more rapid.
