I'm a second year pharmacy undergraduate student who has spent a great deal of time writing to pharmaceutical companies trying to get a summer placement in industry. So far, it seems that only Astra Zeneca and Covance Laboratories have summer placement opportunities. Unfortunately, their websites show none that are relevant to what I want experience in, which is medicinal chemistry or some sort of pharmaceutical R&D placement.

I've posted this thread in the hope that some of you may work for or know of pharmaceutical companies that offer industrial summer placements to pharmacy undergraduates.
