Taking two paracetamols for a hangover is ok. Never take more then two tablets four times a day. Leave at least four hours between doses. If you are a heavy drinker you could have underlying liver problems, and then paracetamol is not a good drug choice, as it can damage your liver.

Taken at the correct dose, in a healthy individual, paracetamol is a safe effective drug.

Taken is overdose it is a very dangerous drug, with the individual having no loss of consciouness, just a failing liver. A very bad way to go.
