Hiya,
thanks for the welcome
its the idea of having a profession I can fall back on thats all.
I tried working with my degree but I don't have the masses of qualifications they wanted for a basic job, worked for some borough councils and wanted to get out asap am now in retail which surprisingly I enjoy (i thinks its the idea of not sitting behind a desk and getting ridiculously bored.) I would like to think pharmacy will allow me to be flexible - bring some money in whilst setting up a business in something totally unrelated...which I've always wanted to do but know that if I doesn't go to plan then I'll be in sainsburys all my life stacking shelves paying a loan off...I'm looking at pharmacy as a safety net even if I never ever set up a business. And no I'm not interested in running my own pharmacy at this very moment...
With the business side to it I will have to specialise within that area and not really interested in areas like hr, accounts, finance...
I hope it doesn't sound like the money i'm after! its the profession.
Yeah I did some work experience in community pharmacy it was okay...
Am sure I will curse myself one day (if I definitely choose to do this) but I personally feel every job has a 'bore' factor built within it, it just depends on your attitude towards it, how you deal with it and what you take out of it.
