I'm delighted to read the news, and wish your daughter well. I wrote, in carefully general terms. to the PJ about the situation. Eventually it was published with a comment from the Secretary & Registrar. I must say I didn't think he dealt with the concerns; he was saying that RPSGB cannot interfere in contractual matters. I think he's wrong, as there is at least a moral responsibility on the Society, since it's a requirement which must be completed to enable students to join the register.
As I say, I wish your daughter well.
